Please allow plenty of time for visiting Glastonbury! If you are fit, you may climb the Tor and/or Wearyall Hill, where Joseph of Arimathea reputedly planted his staff and it took root. There is Glastonbury Abbey and its grounds and the Rural Life Museum. But please take time to visit St John’s Church. A place of welcome; a place of peace, a place of refreshment; both physical and spiritual.
There are hotels, B&Bs, caravan and camping sites, all within a gentle walk of St John’s (visit the Tourist information web site on our links page).
Finally, look at other sections of this site so that you can be aware of what may interest you specifically about St John’s Church.
A printable map is available from our Booking Forms section.
We hope you enjoy your visit.
